My hedgehog and I love doctor Rizor! He’s knowledgeable, and willing to teach me how to do things to care for him! We’ve never had an issue getting in when I have urgent concerns, and he takes all concerns seriously!

Extremely pleased with their willingness to go the extra mile to get our new fur baby in for an exam. Customer service and initial contact alone is enough for this 5 star review. Cheese is excited to meet his new veterinarian! Okay, maybe his mommy’s are the excited ones… 😁

I am so grateful to have found such an amazing vet. I have a high strung dog that struggles to go into a vet office. They were so helpful with resources to help him get over this issue, they were also so patient with him and getting him physically through the door. The team is amazing and you can tell they really care about so deeply about your animal

I switched over to Polar Pets almost two years ago, shortly after they opened. Dr. Rizor and all the staff are fantastic! They were all so kind when we lost our cat and are great with my rambunctious lab. We recently got a puppy (unplanned) and they got her in for an exam and shots the same day I called. The clinic is very clean and inviting. I can't say enough how great they are. I highly recommend Polar Pets!

Best veterinarian and staff in Anchorage. They took the time to get to know my pups and listened to my concerns. Very thorough vet care and I was not feeling rushed out the door. I love that! The staff there was outstanding. They got me in on short notice. I needed health certificates for my turtles. They’re are not many exotic vets in town.

I dropped off my two cats Kuro and Kizu to be neutered on 6/19/24. They were happy, healthy, and ready to be picked up less than four hours later. The vet and the techs were kind, informative and skilled. If you need a vet, use Polar Pets!

As some veterinary clinics are not taking new clients, Polar Pets is. This was my first time here. I really like this place. Easy check-in, wonderful nurse, and great vet!!! All my questions were patiently answered, and my 2 kitties accepted their 2 shots and nail trimming very calmly. We will return for other kitty needs. Thank you!

I’ve brought my cats here for about 2 years now and have had a great experience each time. Friendly staff, easy quick check in and gentle/patient with the kitties. Exams are quick, informative, and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend.
